FLEXTRAIN is the only live geo-pairing based tactical engagement system available today.  DFIRST™ is the 'backbone' instrumentation package, which retains all of its' original capabilities.  When combined with the additional FLEXTRAIN instrumentation, a flexible robust new system is available to support 21st Century requirements.

FLEXTRAIN (DFIRST™3.0) capabilities were developed due to the demands of changing Army National Guard training requirements with a focus on tasks associated with Counter Insurgency (COIN) Operations.
FLEXTRAIN (DFIRST™3.0) adds the capability of interfacing with MILES 2000 vehicle and individual soldier instrumentation.
These new FLEXTRAIN capabilities allow instrumentation and tracking of Red and Blue Force soldiers, and 'Neutrals'.  The Enhanced Dismounted Instrumentations (EDI) may be used to track vehicles (non-shooters) as well as individual participants. Versatility and the number of participants are multiplied by the combination with the new Combat Service Support (CSS) kits and Crew Served Weapons (CSW) kits.
